Michigan Youth Livestock Scholarship & Statewide Scholarship

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• MYSLSF scholarship is up to $5000 the state wide scholarship is up to $1,000
• MYSLSF applicants must have been a youth exhibitor at the State Fair, Michigan Livestock Expo or Dairy Expo for a minimum of 3 calendar years.
• Statewide applicants must have been a youth exhibitor at a local, county, or statewide exhibition, or State Fair for a minimum of 3 calendar years.
• Tha applicant must be a graduating high school senior, or a high school graduate continuing their education at an accredited instution the year in which they apply for the scholarship.
• Must be a resident of Michigan.

Cass County Conservation Club

(Not Yet Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• Two $1000 scholarships available.  The Schmeling scholarship is available to a student going into conservation.  The Bickel scholarship is available to a student going into conservation and/or agriculture.

SET Education Fund Scholarship

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• Two scholarships available of $8,500
• Students must include application, financial information, ID, acceptance letter, and a letter from a non family member about the community service performed by the applicant.

Steps for Change Scholarship

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• Must be of legal status in the United States.
• Must be a current high school senior expecting to graduate in 2025.
• Accepted to an accredited college, and enrolled for Fall 2025
• Must have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
• Students must accepted, or be in the process of or applying to a college or university.
• Have a household income less than $64,300
• Students must complete the application, include transcript, letter of recommendation and one minute video.

Dakota Pequeno Scholarship

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• $1000 scholarship.
• The recipient of this Scholarship will be a student who has shown perseverance in eliminating obstacles that epilepsy and seizures may present, courage in dealing with epilepsy/seizures, community involvement, and commitment to their education.
• Students Must have a diagnosis of epilepsy/seizure disorder and confirmed by a letter from a physician
• Be a Michigan resident
• Write a short essay regarding epilepsy.

Michigan Council for Exceptional Children

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be a student who will exit from educational programs this year either because of graduation or reaching age 26.
• Must be a student with a disability at the time of exiting his/her program. Provide verification of disability from the district’s Special Education Director or 504 Coordinator.
• Must submit a photograph that is not returnable and could be used for publicity purposes.
• Michigan Council for Exceptional Children scholarship application.
• Awards are available up to $1,500 and applications must be submitted by May 23rd.

B. Davis Scholarship

(Will NOT be Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• $1,000 scholarship

• This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors.
• Applicants need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on what you would consider to be the most important issue that society has to deal with in the next 10 or 20 years? Why do you think this issue so important?
• Deadline is May 21, 2024.

Against the Grain Artistic Scholarship

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• $1000 scholarship.
• Must be at least 25% Asian and or Pacific Islander ethnicity.
• Must be a citizen, national or legal resident of the United States.
• Must be a high school senior or college student and must be a full time student by the upcoming academic year.
• Pursuing a major in the visual/performing arts.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities though participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or other activities.
• Must have at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Against the Grain Ground Breaker Leadership Scholarship

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• $1500 scholarship.
• Must be at least 25% Asian and or Pacific Islander ethnicity.
• Must be a citizen, national or legal resident of the United States.
• Must be a high school senior or college student and must be a full time student by the upcoming academic year.
• Open to all Majors.
• Have demonstrated visionary leadership abilities though innovative means.
• Must have at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Soosie Courter Hemophilia Scholarship

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• $2500.00 scholarships available for students diagnosed with Hemophilia A or Hemophilia B
• Must be a high school senior enrolled in a US school, or be enrolled in an undergraduate program.
• Selection criteria based on the best combination of a creative and persuasive essay, excellent recommendations and superior academic standing.

A Voice for Animals Contest

(Available for the 24-25 School Year)

• Must be less than19 years old on March 1st, 2025 when the contest opens.
• Prizes range between $200 and $500 depending on submission category.
• Must create an essay,  or become involved in a project and submit a video, or essay with photos.
